GETTING EMPLOYER SUPPORT
We encourage you to seek employer support and frame this as an investment in your ability to show up with more energy, emotional intelligence, and long-term capacity, all of which directly benefit your team, your organization, and the communities you serve. Because we know that professional development dollars are often tied to specific outcomes, every part of our agenda will be mapped onto the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance’s Core Competencies, with a specific focus on:

-
Communication
-
Cultural Competency & Diversity
-
Leadership & Management
-
Ethical Decision-Making-
-
Personal and Professional Development
-
Future of the Nonprofit Sector
We will provide a guide that makes it easy for you to report back what you learned and how it will help you in your role! We’re also happy to provide language, receipts, or documentation to help make the case.
OUR COMMITMENT TO EQUITY & ACCESSIBILITY
Equity and inclusion are core values of Reloveution, The Chiron Project, and Stony Point Center. To ensure that this programming is accessible and non-exclusive, and to reflect the current reality of the social sector, the Changemaker Re(Boot) camp is being offered on a sliding scale. This is made possible by the generosity of sponsors, in addition to organizers and facilitators who are offering time and energy at discounted rates.
-
The low point of the sliding scale represents our break-even point, meaning that if nobody pays above the minimum, there will be no profit from the experience, and organizers will not receive payment. There is no shame in choosing this amount!
-
The mid-point of the sliding scale represents the true cost of the experience, what it actually takes to cover operational expenses and compensate organizers and facilitators fairly.
-
The high point of the sliding scale represents a pay-it-forward amount, helping to subsidize participation for others, support accessibility, and ensure those with fewer financial resources can also benefit from this experience.
When deciding how much to pay, we encourage you to make generous, open-hearted choices that genuinely reflect your personal circumstances and any privileges you hold. We also encourage you to seek support from your employer, if appropriate, and/or utilize professional development funds if they are available.

BEYOND FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY, WE ARE ALSO COMMITTED TO EQUITY AND INCLUSION IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
-
Ensuring ADA accessibility, including wheelchair-accessible facilities, quiet/rest areas, and accommodations for participants with mobility, sensory, or processing needs.

-
Affirming LGBTQ+ Identities through the use of chosen names and pronouns, gender-affirming restroom policies, and requesting permission before any related public disclosure.

-
Training our organizing and facilitation team in immigrant rights, and being prepared to respond calmly and legally, should ICE or law enforcement presence arise unexpectedly during the event.

-
Centering diverse voices in our facilitation team, content, and decision-making, including those most impacted by systemic harm and the current climate.

-
Designing psychologically safe and trauma-informed spaces that recognize how race, gender, class, disability, and lived experience shape how people show up and are received.

-
Offering flexible participation options, including rest spaces, breaks, and ways to engage that don’t require constant verbal contribution.

-
Uplifting community wisdom, not just professional expertise, valuing lived experience as leadership.
